CULLMANN starts photo competition concerning the subject FLEXX system

Langenzenn (Germany), 19th July 2011 – On the occasion of the market launch of the new FLEXX system product line CULLMANN in cooperation with the DVF – Verband für Fotografie e.V. (German Association for Photography) -, starts an attractive photo competition based on the motto “BE CREATIVE & FLEXIBLE”. The winners will be awarded with high quality photo / video products from CULLMANN and an iPad2 from Apple.

What do you have to do?
Implement creative ideas, in connection with CULLMANN FLEXX products or comparable products from other manufacturers. The amateur needs to present two different photos for this competition. The first photo, the so-called “Making Of“, shows how useful assisting equipment, such as gooseneck, object clamp, suction tripod, multiclamp, etc., was used for the photo and how the photo was taken. The second photo is the actual picture – the resultant image taken with the help of FLEXX products or similar products from other manufacturers. The only thing that counts is the idea, no matter where the photo was taken, in the living room or in the outback, with many or rather less products, with a digital compact camera, a mobile phone or a professional DSLR.

Especially for this competition CULLMANN created the website:, which for one informs about the conditions of entry and the prices, but also serves the purpose of a communication platform. Here he participant can simply upload and add competition photos to the photo database. Divided into five different categories - Macro, Humans, Tabletop, Action & Fun and Outdoor - each of the uploaded photos can be rated online over a period of 30 days. At the end of the competition a jury will choose the winner from the ten highest rated photos.

„With the continuously increasing photo database, which will still be available after the competition has ended, we would like to provide an online platform under for supplying photographers and video enthusiasts with a digital dictionary“, says Bernd G. Heß, Marketing Director of CULLMANN GmbH. “Our idea is a so-called Wikiflexx for amateurs and professionals who are looking for creative ideas or who need assistance with their planned setup.“

A broadly laid out advertisement campaign, as well as an informative competition folder as an insert in various photo trade magazines, different PR-measures as well as POS activities, the cooperation with the DVF – Deutscher Verband für Fotografie e.V. (German Association for Photography) – and the internet platform support this CULLMANN photo competition that will end on Dec. 31, 2011.
