Portrait, landscape and nude photos shoots with CULLMANN

12. August 2009

On Saturday 22 August 2009, it's once again time for dedicated and aspiring amateur photographers to “open the aperture”. In collaboration with CULLMANN and CeWe Color, the German Association for Photography (DVF) is organising an exciting and informative one-day workshop at Lake Baldeney near Essen. The new CULLMANN MAGNESIT tripods will also be there, and will be available for borrowing or testing. The day's programme will include model shoots in the historical railway compartment and steam engines on the premises of the Hesper Valley Railway, compositions with people on sailboats, classical nudes in unusual surroundings and in a studio atmosphere with multiple flash equipment, plus the opportunity to exchange information with other dedicated photographers.

It is planned to collate the results of the photo days in a CeWe photo book, of which each participant will receive a copy. Targeted image compositions will be the order of the day, rather than just shooting wilding.

Tutors such as Rene Achenbach, Gerd Brünger and Franz-Josef Kollig, under the direction of K.H. Tobias, will look after the photographers in small teams with up to six photographic models at the various theme areas. Participants will learn how to approach a model shoot and how to work optimally with, for example, brightening screens, light shapers and the CULLMANN MAGNESIT tripods. The workshop is designed for both beginners and experts.
