3200 km across Alaska - Chris Breier is back!

01. November 2009

Living up to his motto “Burn Fat Not Fuel”, the German globetrotter and travel/photojournalist Chris Breier has successfully completed his four-month, 3,200 km expedition across Alaska and the Yukon.

To document his expedition, he was supported by various CULLMANN products. Among his equipment, Chris had a MAGNESIT 525 tripod with a MAGNESIT 25Nm ball head, including a MAGNESIT SK 40460 weight balance unit. The MAGNESIT tripod was permanently attached to the outside of the trike throughout the four-month expedition and was exposed to all the adversities of the journey.

"No problem," Chris assured us, “all the parts still work as well as they did on the first day, and thanks to the well-padded CULLMANN camera bags COMO Maxima 300 and COMO Action 300 my cameras also had the best possible protection. As far as I am concerned, Cullmann products will continue to be an integral part of my expedition equipment!”

We are, of course, delighted that such high praise is being given to our products, particularly as they continued to work perfectly even under the harshest conditions. But we are also delighted that Chris Breier has returned home unharmed and with a vast quantity of photographic material. And one thing is certain – CULLMANN products will also be accompanying Chris Breier on his next journey. We are looking forward to it already!
